Sample Wedding Dances
Rumba – Romantic & Smooth
One of the two most popular wedding dances, the Rumba creates an intimate atmosphere that flows with your love song of choice. Simple basic steps that focus on a romantic vibe make this a fan favorite.
Best for: slow to mid-tempo songs; close connection; dramatic photo moments.
Viennese Waltz – Elegant & Light
The Waltz is timeless - we teach you how to gracefully float across the floor with the dance best known for its elegance and aesthetic.
Best for: 3/4 songs or music with strong sway; long dresses; ballroom elegance.
Foxtrot – Classic & Classy
The other half of our two most popular dances, the Foxtrot blends smooth travel with relaxed swagger. It reads as formal, but it’s very beginner-friendly when you keep steps simple.
Best for: crooner vocals, jazz standards, and modern ballads with a steady pulse.
East Coast Swing – Fun & Swaggy
If we had to take a poll on favorite dance for our instructors, this would probably be it. Swing brings energy and personality. It’s playful, casual in the best way, and encourages you to just let loose and have fun.
Best for: upbeat pop/rock, retro tracks, and big smiles.
Hustle - Free & Upbeat
The dance we don't see enough at wedding receptions! The Hustle isn't just made for the disco - it's the perfect dance for couples who've got rhythm and just want to vibe out.
Best for: mid-tempo pop with clear beats, and a suave experience between two people who love to DANCE.
Tango – Dramatic & Powerful
It takes two to... you get it. Tango is confident, precise, and striking in photos. Known for its sharp actions, this dance is for you if you have some theatrical inclination and want to put on a show.
Best for: dramatic songs, performative approach, and couples who want intensity.
